**Sookie will be attending NASAP's upcoming information and adoption day at our partner pet food store "Just Dogs & Cats Too" (36-993 Fir Street, Sherwood Park; just off Wye Rd.) on Saturday April 19 between 2 pm and 5 pm. Please come down and meet her!** This is Sookie who was unclaimed from a local pound. She is a very sweet girl who just wants to give kisses and snuggle with you. Sookie travels well in the car and gets on just fine with other dogs. She ignores cats and enjoys the company of the grandchildren who visit her foster home. She is an active girl but not crazy and will require some leash training as she does pull on the lead. Sookie would likely do well with an active family who will get her out for walks and playtime. Her photo makes her look larger than she is at only 40lbs. In fact, she is quite petite and fine boned. The vet estimates her age to be about 3 years old. This beautiful girl is spayed and had a skin tag on her nipple removed. Sookie is vaccinated, dewormed and has been given Revolution. She is available now to go to her new family.
