ADOPTION PENDING

Hello All,

My name is Gemma and I am a big love bug. I am very well mannered and well trained. I love belly rubs and being groomed. I am really good with humans of all ages and animals of all sizes.

When I came to NASAP in January 2015 it was found that my left hind knee had a completely torn cruciate ligament and a lot of scar tissue was built around the joint to compensate. I had surgery at Guardian Vet Hospital in June 2015 for a tibia plateau, bone graft and removal of all the scar tissue. I completed the required rehabilitation and at my follow up appointment we found out my right knee sustained the same injury. I received a tibia plateau in October 2015. I have been regaining my energy and movement. I am a tough girl and just want to play. I will be seeing the surgeon at the end of February and should be cleared for adoption!!

I am leash trained, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. I am great with kids and all animals. I am very happy girl and great addition to any family. I am in great health and NASAP has been very careful to ensure that her back legs are fully healed.
Please inquire about adopting me and see if I would be a good match for your family!

These surgeries are a very large expense for NASAP and while we never hesitate to provide the best care possible for our animals we are only able to continue though the support and generosity of our followers. If you are able to donate to help with Gemma’s surgery each cost approximately $5000 (surgery and post operation treatments). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and paws.
