ADOPTION PENDING

Sadie is a lovely girl that came to NASAP from our partner pound. She was impounded with a severe wound and abcess at the base of her tail, likely from a cat bite while she was on the street. The wound was quite old and infected and she was not using her tail normally so there was concern that it might have to be amputated. The abcess required cleaning and antibiotics and has now completely healed with no apparent long-lasting effects. Even though her tail was obviously hurting her, she never complained when it needed to be cleaned, poked and prodded by the vet and her foster mom.

Sadie is a stunning brown tabby with cashmere-soft fur. She adjusted beautifully to everyone in her foster family - kids and adults alike. She loves to cuddle, then find a place to curl up close to her people. She is not timid of new situations.  She uses her litter box faithfully. She eats well and her teeth are in good shape too. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. She has a tattoo but it is difficult to read and the several numeric possibilities we tried when trying to trace it did not lead us to her owner. Sadie is looking for an indoor home where she will be safe for life. Inquire about adopting Sadie today!

NASAP's emergency fund allows us to help homeless cats like Sadie that are in desperate need of urgent medical care. Please donate so that we can replenish this fund and help cats like Sadie that will undoubtedly need our help in the future.

**For all of January 2016, NASAP has reduced our adult cat (6 months -10 years) adoption fee to only $100! This fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, feline leukemia/FIV testing and a post adoption health check exam! If you have been considering adding a feline friend to your family, there is no better time than right now!**
