Sammy is a very sweet boy. He knows his basic commands, is house trained, and accepts being crated without complaint. He gets along with dogs and cats, and would probably do well with older children who are gentle with him. Sammy is a little bit overweight, probably because he thinks he is supposed to be a couch potato. For this reason he will need someone who is willing to exercise with him every day and help him get back in shape. Long leisurely walks seem to be the best for him, and he absolutely loves walk time! He wiggles and wags uncontrollably when he sees the leash come out. Sammy's foster home is working on some minor refreshing on his training skills, but overall he is a very good boy. He is happy to rest quietly in the house during the day, and asks very little of his people, just lots of unconditional love! He would make an excellent companion to someone looking for a walking buddy and a pup to cuddle up with on long winter nights. Sammy is neutered, microchipped, tattooed, and vaccinated.
