Meet Brooklyn! Brooklyn was surrendered to NASAP due to her previous owner's economic situation, they decided to do the best thing for her in finding her another family to care for her. She was very well loved in her previous home and is looking for another loving family to continue to give her a great life.
Brooklyn is a sweet girl that loves pets and loves to play with her toys. She is great at fetch too- but not too keen on giving the ball back yet. Brooklyn is not a fan of rough-housing or over-excitement, she would much rather hang out with mellow folks. She likes other calm dogs, and is good with cats as well.
Brooklyn has food allergies that make her itchy at times. We suspect her allergies are to chicken and beef specifically. She has had a complete diet change to limited ingrediant with lamb food and is doing wonderfully. She is recieving claritin on occasion to help as well but we have been able to scale back her dosage and may only need the medication occasionally. Her fur is healthy, shiny and her skin is not flaking. She has lost a bit of weight with regular exercise and her energy levels have improved.
Brooklyn is crate trained and house trained. She does not jump on the furniture and is respectful in the house. She knows her basic commands and is food motivated so likely a quick study if further training is needed. Her foster home is working on her socialization and coping with new situations as she adapts to her new environment. Brooklyn comes with her bed, bowls, leash, some toys, and more, to help her transition from one loving home to another.
Brooklyn is a very sweet girl looking for a forever family to call her own. Please inquire about her today!
